I grew up in a Christian household in Frisco. Though I was saved at 7 years old while at Kanakuk Kamps for a summer, I didn’t begin to really follow God until college. God used a failed romantic relationship that was an idol of mine to get my attention. Through people He had placed in my life, He made it clear that He wanted more for me, and ever since then, I have been imperfectly following a very perfect God.

The community of believers God put me around in college was a huge part of where I am today. I served in the college ministry at Grace Bible Church while attending Texas A&M, and after I (barely) graduated in 2018, I worked full time at that church for 2 years. After a brief stint with Cru in Kansas City, I came back to Dallas to pursue my seminary degree at Dallas Theological Seminary, and to try and figure out what the Lord had for me.

While I am still trying to figure out where exactly He wants to lead me in this life, He has blessed me in many ways and taught me many things along the way. I met my wonderful wife, Ally, in 2022 through Citizens Church in Plano, and in September of 2024, we got married! We like to spend time exercising, thrifting, reading, playing video games (me, not her…), and hanging out with our dog.

After spending a few years doing Facilities at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas, we felt like the Lord asked us to consider making Eastside our home. I am thrilled to be working where I worship, and Ally & I look forward to the time, the people, and the ministry that God has for us here!
