Women’s Discipleship Leadership Teams
The Eastside Women’s Discipleship team is committed to discipling women to be faithful followers of Christ and empowering them to use their God-given influence for the glory of God and the good of the church. Our Women’s Discipleship Leadership Teams provide structured opportunities for women to serve and lead by using their time, energy, and spiritual gifts for building up the body of Christ.
To serve on a Women’s Discipleship Leadership Team, women must be a current Covenant Member of Eastside Community Church, demonstrate Christian character in both word and deed (Philippians 1:27), and have a heart and desire to encourage and equip women through the use of their spiritual gifts (1 Peter 4:8-11).
Each 2026-2027 Leadership Team is a 1-year commitment.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study exists to help women grow in their love and knowledge of God and his Word. This team helps execute Women’s Bible Study through serving as a small group leader.
Commitment:
Attend Leader Conference (August 21-22).
Co-lead a Bible Study small group for Fall 2026 (10 weeks) and Spring. 2027 (10 weeks) by facilitating discussion, praying for, and communicating regularly with group participants.
Influence & Camp Influence
Influence is our seasonal gathering for women where we come together to consider what it means to live as disciples of Christ and leverage our God-given influence for the glory of God and the good of his people. This leadership team will play an active role in executing all Influence events, including 3 seasonal gatherings and one in-town retreat.
Commitment:
Attend Leader Conference (August 21-22).
Attend a monthly Influence Team Meeting (2nd Sunday of the Month) to help develop the programming alongside the Women’s Discipleship Ministers that serve the spiritual needs of Eastside women.
Be present and own specific elements of each Influence gathering.
Fall: October 29th, 2026
In-town Retreat: February 26th-27th, 2027
Spring: April 29th, 2027
Summer: July 22nd, 2027
New Moms Mentor
Our New Moms Ministry serves to care for and equip new moms to set their eyes on Christ as they begin their motherhood journey. This team serves as mentor moms who help execute New Moms Gatherings, informal playdates, and help care for and support new moms at Eastside.
Commitment:
Attend Leader Conference (August 21-22).
Be present and own specific elements of each New Moms gathering.
