My relationship with Christ began when I was in middle school, and by God's grace, I have been following him earnestly since. I knew from that age that there was nothing I could do to earn my salvation, no matter how many accolades I might win or how hard I worked to live a sinless life. The Lord has created in me a great curiosity which has sparked a desire to learn and to teach, which has fueled my desire to work and lead in the world of education.

After graduating from The University of Oklahoma in 2009, I began my teaching career in the middle school Spanish classroom in both Norman, Oklahoma and Highland Park ISD in Dallas. After 11 years enjoying every minute, I moved into school administration, serving as an Assistant Principal at Highland Park Middle School and Highland Park High School.

Our Lake Highlands home is always buzzing with excitement as my husband, Brandon, and I navigate raising and discipling our two girls, Lucy and Clara.

My hope for Scofield Christian School is that each staff member and member of every family we serve would grow in their relationship with Christ because of the equipping Scofield provides. I pray that each student who passes through our doors would know that following Christ is better than any other path they might choose and that they would live to Love One God, Love All People, and Make Disciples Everywhere.
