I grew up in Frisco, TX in a home where my parents loved the Lord and, in God’s kindness, I began to understand His big love for me at an early age. During my middle school years, I started to see that striving for perfection and seeking approval from others could never truly satisfy the deep longing in my heart for acceptance. It was in that season that God drew me near and taught me that salvation—and subsequent peace, joy, and confidence—are found only in His unending, never-stopping, never-changing love. Praise God that His grace is not dependent on my imperfect efforts!

After graduating from Baylor University in 2010, I explored various roles in writing and communication. Before joining Eastside, I spent 13 years in the software industry, working as a Technical Writer, then as a Product Owner and Manager for financial and healthcare software organizations.

While I enjoyed those professional experiences, my favorite roles are being a wife to my husband, Brent, and a mom to our two  girls, Maia and Leigh.

My prayer for Eastside is that we would be a church made up of individuals unafraid to be different as we joyfully pursue discipleship under a perfect God. By serving one another with humility and living authentically in our everyday rhythms and spaces, may our lives become a contagious witness—drawing our neighbors and the next generation toward the hope and beauty of Christ.
