I was born and raised in my early years in Liberty City, TX, and then moved to Lake Jackson, TX. I grew up in a family with a rich history of faith and ministry. My dad has always been in ministry, serving as a student pastor, family pastor, and senior pastor, and my mom grew up as the daughter and granddaughter of a pastor. Together my parents created a home for me and my sister and brother that was centered around loving and serving Jesus Christ. I gave my life to Jesus when I was six and began my lifelong walk with Him, which has always anchored me, even in seasons when I drifted.

In high school, I came to understand my deep need for God’s grace, as He showed me the emptiness of relying on my own works. That shift in my understanding of the love and sacrifice of Jesus as being so much greater than my weaknesses and failures only grew my love for the Lord.

Though I often wondered if I would follow my dad into vocational ministry, I studied Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M in College Station, where I served in my church as a youth leader and in a para church ministry, Impact Retreat, which continued to grow my heart for discipleship and ministry.

After graduating in 2024, I worked as a chemical engineer in Houston, while continuing to serve in the local church. This past year of my life, however, brought significant trials and deep grief, and yet God met me with mercy at every turn. By His grace, He led me to Dallas and into the community of Eastside through the kindness of its members.

My prayer for Eastside is that we would know Christ deeply and make Him known in every part of our lives. I long for our church to be a refuge for the brokenhearted and a clear witness of the gospel in Dallas. It is such a joy to serve the body of Christ and to follow wherever He leads, and I pray that we would experience His peace, as we trust His perfect plan for our lives each day.
