I grew up in Plano, Texas in a churchgoing household where my faith was attributed to subjective morality and “being a good person.” Though I called myself a Christian, I did not have true faith in Christ. I was living in sin and feeling crushed by the weight of guilt from not living up to the standard I set for myself. In college, by God’s grace, I began attending a Bible teaching, Gospel-centered church, where I heard the Gospel like it was the very first time. The Lord revealed to me the grace that He lavishes upon us in His son Jesus and the freedom I have from the shame I was trapped in through His death and resurrection.  

In December 2019, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Nursing. For five years I worked in the hospital setting, but stepped away after my husband, Rob, and I welcomed our first daughter, Margaret, to our family in February 2025. I feel so honored to now work at Eastside and serve whoever walks through the doors.

In my free time I enjoy going on walks, reading, drinking coffee, puzzling, and playing games with friends and family. 

My hope and prayer for Eastside is to be a church who continually sits at the feet of Jesus, loves and cherishes His word, and is a light to the city around us.
