I am from Plano, Texas, where I grew up hearing and learning about God at church. I took all the right steps as a Catholic, but my heart was not changed by the truth of the Gospel. It took moving to New York City, after earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, to upturn my life. Facing exhaustion from long work hours and loneliness in a large city, my sadness begged the question, "Why am I here, and what's my purpose?" Through community at a local church, I found those answers, and my heart of stone was turned to flesh. Life will never be the same!

I love Eastside, our people, and our staff. My husband and I met here! I continuously learn from Eastsiders about growing in holiness, by witnessing how they follow Jesus with discipline.

I have received a countless amount of mentorship and friendship from this congregation, preparing me to proclaim Christ more effectively outside our church. In my spare time, I chase our adorable toddler, try new recipes with my husband, and enjoy reading. 

My prayer is that those spiritually seeking would experience God at Eastside - and that we'd remain humble. "For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
